Sunset, breaking through clouds
Rays of gold dance across earth
Seen from a perch above the desert valley
Prayer Hill; small, dead, beautiful

Prayer Hill; last rays of sun
Welcome stars, dancing in the black abyss
Thanking God for a day well spent
Asking for deliverance

Knees against the hard rock, head bowed
Cross towering above, reaching towards Heaven
Sunset on Prayer Hill; peace, love, Christ
