Left In The Past
Dwelling on the past makes futures blurry
Mistakes made so long ago should serve only one purpose to preach what experience can only teach
Should have’s should stay in the tense they are spoken in and never again considered
Would have’s can’t exist in futures, life awaits for would be’s, could be’s, and assurance
Could have’s only mean it wasn’t meant for you
I should have said yes to him, you could have ended up pregnant or with an S.T.D
I could have gone too; you would have become a statistic
Catch my drift, Got a clue, if so then maybe you could help a friend or two stuck in the should have, could have, would haves of theirs too.
