A Fear That Will Never Leave

I’m afraid of being vulnerable,
I’m afraid of falling on my face, after I take a leap of faith,
I’m afraid of my all
not being enough,
I’m afraid of another goodbye and no longer being able to be tough,
I’m afraid of a broken heart,
but you knew that from the start.
You knew what you were getting into, I warned you loud and clear
But because of him,
forever will I fear.
