Relay Of Life
Life is no more than a continuous relay
Taken for granted as we recklessly play
A baby is born
New life we adorn
Wriggling and screaming with joy
Does not matter if it is a girl or boy
An elder dies
Who will hear our cries
With no one on whom to rely
We shrivel up and die
Miracles have lost their shine
Predetermined by another’s design
The only real question is time
When we go and who we leave behind
Same people different faces
Set in different times and places
Replaced by blinded bodies whirling about
Remaining never will we die out
Perpetually spinning round within
The never ending circle of life therein

Loved the whole thing ^_^
especially the ending <3
I certainly enjoyed this poem. At first, I thought of Shakespeare's famous speech in As You Like It, the one that begins, "All the world's a stage, all the men and women merely players."
Considering this made of The Bard himself, simply bravo. I'm looking forward to seeing more excellence from you.
Absolutely Amazing!
Loved it!
