Will they tell me not to dream?
They can take my freedom
My family
Take anything
Except
They can never take my heart
They can never have my dreams
Because I’m always dreaming
Always dreaming
Dreaming of one day when I’ll be free
Free to walk
Free to wonder
Free to laugh
Free to love
Is it all just a pointless hope?
They took almost everything
Yet they can never take my dreams
Because I’m always dreaming
Dreaming
Dreaming free.
