Sit still and look pretty.
It's what everyone sees.
What do they not catch at first glance?
A perfect marriage.
It's what most people want.
What most people think you carry.
When will you finally reveal,
The secrets you've been keeping?
The scene behind closed doors.
You feel like you're never good enough.
'Cause that is all he ever says.
You want to pay him back for the pain he has caused you.
Bruises. Welts. Bags under your eyes.
Karma's not always bad.
Sometimes,
It's so freaking sweet..
