Why do I live?
I live because my heart keeps pumping,
Circulating blood throughout my body.
I live because my lungs keep breathing,
Taking in air and keeping lactic acid off my muscles.
I live because if I was to stop eating,
Someone would notice, and questions would be asked.
Why do I live?
I live because my body is controlled by a series of instincts,
Which I don’t have the courage
To forcefully stop.
I live because I am a coward.
