Favorite Quote:
"The brain is wider than the sky."--Emily Dickinson.

I'm traveling faster than the speed of light.
Wind funnels through my two-sizes-
too-large shirt as I sail down the hill.
I'm bent low, my torso poised
over the handlebars,
trying to stay aerodynamic.

All around me, trees and cars and road
flash by,
but I don't notice.
I'm focused … trying to lose myself in the rhythm of the
chug, chug, chug my legs have
methodically fallen into as I push
pedal after pedal.
When I'm done, my body aches from tip
to toe,
and my butt is sore from sitting too long.
But I don't mind.

My love is too strong … let's ride again
tomorrow.

I love this poem! I feel like I am riding the bike with you! Great use of diction, imagery, and sounds.
