Connection
He came upon me
Out of the light
Into the darkness
With the soft beat
Of the Raven’s wings
A black rose
He offered me
Upon that rose
Laid two things
That made me smile
My vampire smile
And made him laugh
His wolfish laugh
Blood upon our black rose
Sweater than any human blood
There lays a note
Upon our rose
He writes,
‘Plant the seed
Of Chaos.
Let it grow.
Throw open our doors
To our world
To darkness.’
