You’re like a wave crashing on the beach.
Always there and never fading.
Getting bigger and escalating.
You’re like a wave crashing on the beach.
Pushing you down when you’re small.
Making you fall. Fall. Fall.
You’re like a wave crashing on the beach.
Cold as stone with no heart.
And you keep drifting. Drifting far apart.
You’re like a wave crashing on the beach.
But one day we’ll over come our fears,
And acquire the strength,
To stand without falling.
