look what you've become
When you look in the mirror
You see the person you've become
You remember who you were
And how far you've fallen
You don't see the good anymore
Just the flaws.
You remember the promises
That you've broken
The rules you disregarded
Or just didn't care about
All the memories
You swore you would forget
All your mistakes
Riding on your shoulders
You think of the faces
Of every person you hurt
You see the tracks
Of all the tears you shed
For the people that hurt you first
And the scars
From the times you hit rock bottom
You think of the friends that left a mark
Even though no one
Would be able to see
The you that's looking you
In the mirror
When you look in the mirror
You see the person you've become.
You remember where you were
And how far you've come.
