Why are you so nice to me?
I couldn't stand it if I were you.
There's not much worse that I could be,
so this all seems too good to be true.
I'm the first one to tell you I'm not so wonderful -
in fact, I'm really just a mess.
To others, I look like I know it all -
but you see past the big smile and pretty dress.
Anyone else would drop everything and run, so I'm sorry for thinking you'd be done.
This stretches far beyond some silly promise you made -
but no matter why you do it, it's you I'd never trade.
