fake fires lighting up the night
hiding in the trees
golden on my face
whiting out my eyes
with their artificial brightness
neon warmth in the night might not be as comfortable as a fireplace
but waste not, want not
i always say.

I think this is the first non-depressing/angry poem I've put up on here. I left out capitalization on purpose.
