Silence descends upon the room
I feel my heart sink
Others sit shaking in their seats
Waiting for their death sentence
A looming figure draws nearer
Like an angel of death
I forget how to breathe
A scream rises in my throat
The room begins to spin
A paper is placed on my desk
Gasps of shock are heard around
Resigned to our fates
We pick up sharpened pencils
Time for our Statistics test
