If I Died Today
If I died today
 I would be content
with what I have done in my life.
I’ve hopped across the pond a few times
 learning about my ancestry.
Alaska, South Africa, Switzerland – they’ve all taught me different things.
But sometimes staying in your own backyard is better.
In your own backyard you can go camping.
Even if your thoughts are in the gutter,
you can still look up at the stars.
Staying in your own backyard is where your memories are made
with your friends and family all in sight- together.
In your own backyard you grow up blowing bubbles on swing sets and catching lightening bugs in
 your
 carefree
  life.
And even when you grow old on the outside
We never do with our family.
We always remain the same to them.
