Valentine's Day is near
At the crack of dawn
Letting the sunshine in
Eventually, the heart lightens
Not only brightening
The hearts pulsing
In the souls of many
Nowhere else to find the beat
Eating at the furious heat
Forever never ceasing
Orange glows of Love
Red shades radiating
Mommy, yours is love
Only you have the decision
Mainly the choice to release the dove
And let love shine
Necessity which reigns
Dignity you’ll say is divine
Daddy, Love is yours
And this blooms in the
Depths of Her shores

The author's comments:
My Mom asked me to write a Valentines poem for my her and Daddy for Valentine's Day and i was inspired to write this based on their love for each other overcoming the hardships of love and becoming peaceful in each other's presence
