Like today you touched my hand
For no reason other then to
I don’t know if you notice but I do
From our feet, to legs, to sides
I notice it all
In the lunch room
In the halls
Anywhere
Sometimes I try
I’ll sit in a way to
Or move my leg to
Do you notice?
Do you notice and not care?
Or do you notice and feel the way I do?
Like you simple touch
Can give me life
And peace
Like we’re connect
Beyond the normal connection
It might just be me
