Crayon Box
His crooked white smile always makes me laugh
and only he can pull off his mismatched
 burgundy and tangerine knee-high socks.

He’s never written with the same pen twice,
but always uses bright violet ink.

He outs yellow mustard on his pizza
and only ever drinks aqua Kool-Aid.

Some find him strange; a neon-painted nut,
but to me, every day with him is like
a marvelous crayon from a new crayon box.
