"The clock is running. Make the most of today. Time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present."

Two survivors
Struggling
In the dark
To break free
Of their chains
Refusing to give in
Refusing to relent
Until our steel boxes
Begin to mold
Into one

Side by side
We sit
No cool steel
Between us
Anymore
Though our chains
Still keep us
Apart
If only one of us
Was strong enough

In our box
Room is scarce
The closer we become
As time passes
The closer we become though
The happier I am
To share the space
To breathe the same air
As you

The company
of the other
Is precious to us
Thankful
That at least
Another bears
The same burdens
And that a relationship
So strong is formed
That we have shared
Everything
Without speaking
A single word

Alone we shiver
A boy and a girl
Struggling
To warm each other
Because we alone
Experience
This Chill
