Severed
I walk around at night
The dreams have become barren of existence
They do not exist on the level I prowl
Living, like a creature in the night
Watching
Waiting
Hoping
That I can feel more than the physical
I am now devoid of the emotional
No one can hear my calls through the misty night air
It is as if I am screaming underwater
When my last breath leaves my lungs with the final bubble breaks to the surface
I breathe in a new life with one big gulp
Instantaneously severed for eternity
