A Church Bell Rings
A church bell rings
  your eyes open
    a single breath
  you take
    ice cold
 like a day in winter
  I feel your voice
    down my neck
  I lied to you
    You don't know me

 A church bell rings
   a tear falls
     down your left cheek
  I take your hand
   I hear you touch
 Through my chest

 I loved you

  A church bell rings
    your lips part
     only to allow
  the poison of hate
     Slither through
 I lied to you,
   I loved you,
    I almost believed in you

  A church bell rings
    I can't see you
   like I felt you,
    like I heard you

  A church bell rings
     Can you hear me?
