In Or Out?
While taking your time,
Trying to fit in fine.
Looking up styles,
No matter how vile,
Filling carts with piles.
The destination has been set,
To be with them is the bet.
Doing up you nails,
For you cannot fail.
To you your look is dearer-
Though carbon copy in the mirror.
The facade is getting wearier,
You’re wishing to be freer.
While I have fun,
And am about,
I’m standing out,
While you fit in.
Now starring in wonder,
While your new friends chatter,
Pointing in my direction,
And wishing,
To have my spot.
