In the night
The colors of darkness shine
Images flash before our closed eyes
Drowning in the ongoing mist of silence
Dreams drifting
In the air
In our minds
In our souls
Revealing a flicker of our destinies
Nameless faces and other places
Imprinted in our minds
For a seemingly short amount of time
To be erased as we chase for whom we truly desire
But alas the last of the sand
Has crept to the bottom of the hourglass
The sleeping mind has awoken
And all is to be forgotten forever
