Scars and bones will heal
Self-esteem, memories, and hearts remain shattered
Broken like your mothers favorite vase
Destroyed like the after math of a cosmic collision
I find it funny...
That the parts which hurt the most,
the ones that are so tormented
Are the ones so easily hidden
Bleeding sores and watery eyes
Meerly whisper and are heard.
But when my soul, my being, and my mind
are so loudly screaming
they are muted, misunderstood, or passed over.
Sticks and stones will break my bones, and words shall forever haunt me....
