I slowly feel our relationship turning into more of a math problem
and less of a fairytale.
Every one knows the next line
it’s the same every time,
there’s nothing more than the solution.
No open ended happily ever after to look forward to.
Just the x at the end of the problem.
That’s the thing with math problems.
They’re a dead end
once you get the answer there’s not much more you can do
other than sit and look at the answer
and think “wow that’s the answer”.
I don’t believe we’ve reached the answer yet,
but we are working toward a dead end.
And honestly I’m a bit bored with it.
I miss being able to hang out with my friends, with our friends,
with out it being a date.
I miss being able to have a conversation and not run out of things to say.
Everything is repetitive and uniform
Everything’s like it’s supposed to be
Instead of beautiful chaos like I wish it was
