Pete the Leprechaun
There once was a leprechaun who was a mere two feet
He was a chipper fellow by the name of Pete
He ate Lucky Charms all day long
Then he'd grab his fiddle and play a song
Now Pete was greedy when it came to gold
He searched and searched until he grew old
His bones grew brittle and his hair grew gray
His beard became longer day by day
Alas, he found a mighty rainbow!
It rose high in the sky and descended down low
He made his way to the other side
He put a smile on his face, filled with pride
And there, shining wonderfully on the ground
His pot o' gold he'd finally found!
