Thanks for saying sorry,
It didn’t mean a thing.
Too bad you never meant it,
Because
I’m sorry too,
That I was never perfect
And had too many flaws.
I never had to be,
That is before I met you.
Crazy as it seems,
You weren’t perfect either.
You’ll never admit it,
So let’s forget the past,
That’s all I’ve ever wanted to do.
But sad to say,
Your sorry will never count.
