Saturating in the heat,
Got on our flip-flops,
Summer is such a treat.

Blasting Katy Perry,
Our hair blowing in the breeze,
See some boys cute enough to marry,
Good thing we have on our best tees.

We jump in the lake,
Forgetting all of our pain,
Jealous girls give a double take,
We're in the fast lane,

Who cares what people think of us,
Waking up after eleven,
Summer's a rush,
No school? I think I'm in heaven!

When Summer ends this year,
I have no clue what I'll do,
I'll keep our memories as a souvenir,
This Summer was just a debut.
