Let Earth unbalanced from her orbit fly / Planets and Suns run lawless through the sky.
An Essay on Man - Alexander Pope

Ink runs like a river
Carving a steady rhyme
Like blood pierced from a lover past
In a forgotten time

Secrets are like venom
Shallow in our veins
Yet masked in ink lay secrets veiled
Drenched in presaged pain

My heartache forms a plot line
An off-tune melody
Scribbled in a five-line cage
Lays my crooked symphony

Equipped with all mistaken
My troubled tale begins
My open wounds drip poison words
On walls, so paper-thin

Walls that build a house
None too sturdy, none too strong
In the corners lay the secrets
Of my buried midnight song

I reread this thirty times, and came up with thirty different meanings. I'd love to hear what you see in it. :)
