A hero is not a man more courageous than others, but a man courageous for a little while longer.

Watch as the falcon falls,
falls from the far away sky.
Watch as the falcon falls to the ground,
where wings do not belong.

Stare as the falcon falls,
far to the ground,
where the falling falcon is bound,
no better than a man.

Watch as the falcon falls,
and breathes a mortal's breath.
Fall falcon,
fall.

Imagine losing a way of life. Imagine losing your ability to walk or talk or see. Imagine a falcon losing its wings, losing the sky. Fall.

I agree with Smile, it's very thought provoking!

Compelling. Thought-provoking. And complexity within the short poem. i really liked it. Any poem that gets a reader on the edge of their seat waiting for the next line deserves to be noticed. Very well done :)
