Our lives are shaped by teachers-
Explainers- those who tell us
right from wrong.
Right now, we’re all malleable work surfaces
that need shaping. Many people
don’t trust them as guides, or view them
as superior- just as obstacles
in teenage life.

They don’t deserve that.
Teachers teach us more than they know.
Sure, we can spit back formulas on
A page, and solve complex equations
that are only as dimensional as the
student.
We can recite the presidents as facts,
not people or in-depth leaders. But we
learn more than that.
They teach us more.

The best teachers teach us how to apply
this useless information in hopes
for success, which usually takes the form of
of a letter on a page, or a dollar sign-
Worthless symbols.
The best teachers are those who care about
the information they teach, and want to share their
knowledge, and are able to show that
it is not as useless as the symbols really are.

But most students don’t see this value,
and continuously bash their teachers
as though they are cracking nuts in
a series of “not fairs,” “how could they
Assign all this work,” and “there is no
point in writing this paper.” But actually,
there is a point. The point is to learn
and to value your teachers.
