Despair
Darkness falls again on this barren, foresaken land.
The cries of children echo through all that is at hand.
A village in flames and peoples cries tell you this is happiness no more, for now the baby's cried have stopped, the child that you bore.
Fir engulfing houses, livestock and their fields.
The captors will take everything, from which the village yields.
Love and compassion have burned in a fire of despair.
The smell of the saddened, the smell of burning hair.
