Favorite Quote:
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. ~T.E. Lawrence

Step into the darkness, dear
You can do it.
It’s not so hard.

It’s been here all along, dear
But you’ve been too sheepish.
The darkness is here

Always has been.

Once you’re here, you’ve done it.
It’s wonderful
A wonderful darkness.

No knocking required.
Just do it.
Door is always open.

Little girl, you can do it.

You don’t need that light anymore, dear.
It doesn’t need to lead the way.
You’re brave enough now.

Watch your step, dear.
It’s not all fun and games
But you can do it.

Just watch your step.

This is the product of free writing in English class, where we were given a piece of paper with a word on it. My word was darkness and at first glance it seems like a very dark poem, although it really isn't.
