The fact that i can't swim in reality might be why i always drown in my dreams.
Where the crashing waves of disappointment swallow me whole
Plunging me further down into the dark parts of the sea {un}known as deception
only to wash me back up to the white foam and sand of repetition
Just so i can walk back to the docks of ambition
And do the dive of determination
Complete with the strokes and doggy paddle of success
