AS they walk, they burn
but they don't notice

the glass shards they
step on
AS they watch the
world go up in smoke
tears stream down their faces
but they don't notice

they don't raise their hand
to brush the tears away
AS they hear the cities
shake themselves to pieces
they stand on the hill top
but they don't notice

as life is swept away
