Work to make a living, but don't live to work.
A picture is worth a thousand words, but is a thousand words worth a picture.
A true artist looks into themselve and finds their inmost feelings, while a creative person sees color and form.

When I fell down, you weren't there to pick me up.
When I got hurt, you weren't there to wipe away the unwanted tears.
When Mom dressed me up, you weren't there to take a picture.
Back then the little girl I was didn't know how hard it was without you.
Nine years of my life go by. All I knew was your name.
Until I finally saw your face. Behind your eyes was shame.
Abandonment forgotten I gave you a hug and embraced you into my world. But like your sudden appearance, you vanish from my life.
Now at 16 I look back, and I know what I missed. Without a father's love.
