It clutches me heart in an icy hand,
Someone is dragging a white hot knife through my throat,
My lungs are on fire,
My blood is frozen in my veins,
Beads of sweat run down my neck and forehead,
My hair sticks to my neck,
A sword is threatening to drop on me,
Someone is sticking pins all over me like I’m a voodoo doll,
Walls are closing in on me,
Telling me I’m trapped,
I can’t go anywhere,
Yes this is fear.

Wow! This is really powerful, it describes fear perfectly! Just fix the mistake ritabelle511 pointed out, and this poem is absolutely thrilling!

Wow, this is intense! All the imagery and descriptors you used really put me in the same position as the speaker of the poem! The only thing I saw that could be changed was "It clutches me heart in an icy hand" - did you mean "my heart?" Great job!
