The waves cast a shadow on the people below
The gentle throbbing of the water threatens all peace
Subtle and drastic it rolls up and down
Beautiful and dangerous cursing its victims to costly happiness
Dying wishes among the living
Green and red thrive within the endless blue
Sent from heaven to destroy all that breaths
Desperate to clutch at liquid that slips through clumsy fingers
Many different faces flash across blind eyes as the wave descends
Swim through the pain and panic
Or drown in the heartache
