He’s seen the face
Beneath the mask
He knows our darkest secrets
He’s peered inside our souls
And inside his own
He despises what he’s seen
But knows it’s a part of him
As it is in all of us
Because he is weak
And so are we
And we are evil
And so is he
He despises us
As he despises himself
But will do anything to help us
Because he must
Because he has no choice

i read this writing a few times through to get the meaning- or A meaning, maybe not THE meaning. at first i thought you were talking about God, but God isnt evil. are you talking about the devil? im not really sure. i actually love this poem for that reason though. it really makes you think about the true meaning and it is really deep. i love it. keep writing:) wonderful job
