vicious death
death swiftly bites your waiting thread,
the sound they make! those teeth we dread!
No time to peek, panic or pray
Its deaths decision whether you stay.
It must not take death long to choose,
Which threads to steal, which to refuse.
For how could the vicious death live,
how could it have the heart to forgive,
itself if it glimpsed the forlorn faces,
or those it doomed to the wooden cases.
