Favorite Quote:
I grew up in this town, my poetry was born between the hill and the river, it took its voice from the rain, and like the timer, it seeped in the forest.

- Pablo Nerudo

There is a field that is stained blood scarlet
where the betrayer was hanged from the noose.
Thirty pieces of silver he wanted
What is that silver worth now, you sinner?
Hope, freedom, life and grace He brought to you,
Yet for you that just could not be enough.
Not belonging at His sacred table,
You were the one who took the Christ away.
Demonic possession must have occurred,
For why else would you stand against the Son?
Suffering forever for evil deeds –
No more time was left for him to remain.
Guilt and eternal sadness you then felt;
The blood money mocked you for your mistakes.
Standing on the field the blood had bought him;
All the feelings that had tore at his heart
Encouraged him to tie the knot and jump.
Akeldama now holds all his secrets.
There is a field that is stained blood scarlet
Where the betrayer was hanged from the noose.

I wrote this as a way to describe what I think hapened to the man who is infamous for the betrayal of Jesus Christ. It's an amazing tale that doesn't truly have a set ending, so I decided to make one.
