Hate is the splinter in the foot of the world,
Feelings infecting,
Irritating the earth and disrupting its natural rhythm,
Circling at a standstill,
Eyes wide in shock
An announcement of difference:
When jealousy seeps through the skin,
Staining the perfect canvas of flesh,
With hurtful words who exploit cracked facades,
once concealed
A sting from a bee,
The stinger is removed but poison still lurks,
A faded scar,
An announcement,
A warning,
Only noticed by the wearer,
For he will not let an insect venture near him hence forth
