I watch the sky
and see the stars twinkle in the night
I see a smile that As I lay my head on my pillow
and look out the window
makes me sleep peacefully
and I know that shes smiling down
I put my hand out towards the sky and try to reach her
and even though I cant see her hand I can feel it
she grabs it and I hear her whisper," I'm never gonna let it go"
a tear rolls down my cheek and I feel her wipe it away
saying to me, "Don't cry because I never left you."
I have an angel in the sky and her name is Mom
forever she'll be mine and I am forever her child
