In Love with Mystery
I danced with a mask
Talking to him was a difficult task,
He led me to the floor
I begged him to adore
He said,"I love you"
I wondered if this could be true.
The past, told me to know him deeply
Which I could not,for his face was lovely
But looks is not a matter of,
Knowing the special one you want to love.
The present, showed me the way to leave, for when I did he plead.
But time is not a matter of,
Knowing the special one you want to love.
The future, visioned me to see him again.
Which something true and real can begin
He sent a messenger saying "I would die for you."
And I read it ten times, and said it was true.
Hands in my pockets walk all around
I hear a sweet yet haunting sound
Violins plays music by the day
As again he steps in my way
I remembered his eyes as they dazzled grey
When he asked me the night if I would stay
Hands in my pockets I remembered usually
I answered his question very smoothly
Tapping his shoulder I nod my head
Going upstairs ten 'till midnight the day was dead.
