A Different You In My Life
As you sit there and list all the thins that make you angry
it is embarrassing to list all the things that were once so welcoming.
you make her out to look like the devil
but try to ignore the things that made her a gleaming angel.
until the day where all the anger seems to fade away
and youre left with just the empty memories.
those memories you wish still existed
but then wonder
if it is worth going through hell
for just that one happy moment
to sit there
to watch someone deteriorate
just to watch them smile even once.
there is no hope that she will get better
no more hoping and wishing on a fail
but to accept that failure
and to live without it
is something quite different.
