Beautiful Scars
June 22, 2011
She walks in beauty
showing her scars
from past love and pain.
She is like a fierce goddess
and a gentle flower
all in one.
I watch now
scared and unsure
of how to proceed
of how to make her
heart mine, now and forever
but alas,it be only a dream, love
Only a dream.
Though the swelling of my heart
gives permission
She trusts no one
for she been deceived
every time her heart skipped for
another
Her dazzling smile cast
a beautiful curse on me
a curse I call love.
Can it be love with no trust?
One can only hope.
One can only dream.
For she walks in beauty
and has stolen my heart.
