"Beginning to End" June 24, 2011
Sleepless nights and terrified
Of the truths that she's been given
Wondering, why me? Why now?
A million questions like starts painted in a clear sky.
You promised her there were no secrets.
And even though you deny the lies,
Her mind was trained to follow her heart.
From the beginning to the end of life itself.
Those enemies, she'd grown up with
Like to play a cinematic show.
And although she always struggles with it,
Her love will never go.
She's starving for comfort,
But drowning in fear.
For if she wanders too close,
Her greatest enemies may appear.
Yes she may love you,
But forgiveness does not shine.
She's trying to do what's better for the best,
And simply, you cannot be mine.
