If "If" Had The Strength

If my heart had wings
It would soar through the sky
Searching for you
Until it would die

If my skin was paper
My bones would be glass
A song made from cold
And my lips formed with brass

If a mind could craft Heaven
The hands are the brain
Floating like feathers
With sunshine as rain

If tears could raise a garden
I'd sit amongst with thought
And pray for the world
So that peace may be sought

If the sun weren't afire
I'd claim it to be night
Tell the world to take matches
And let it ignite

If they push you to strong
And they don't understand
May the angels watch over you
And God hold you in hand
