stars r real
stars r fake
light in the sky
in the moon’s wake

dreams and fantasies
hopes lifted high
symbols of everything
that help u get by

balls of gas
glowing and hot
stars have double meaning
more often than not

but then again
most of us do
masks of meaning
when we r blue

we walk thru life
acting it out
we don’t even know
what the play is about

endlessly the maze
of life goes on
so we watch the stars
hoping for the dawn

Wow, this is deep. I love how the poem revolves around the stars, there seems to be a much deeper meaning to it, just like you speak about in your poem.

Very nice! I loved what I think you were trying to get across with this one, and the poem itself is quite meaningful. It flows rather well, with a clever foundation. The second to last stanza was probably my favorite.

Nice to know people actually read my poems and like them.  I have posted more stuff it's just taking forever for them to put it up.
