Saturn Devouring His Son

Consider death a stepping stone of life.
White eyes match white skin,
connecting father and son.
The feast: the ultimate compliment.
Father stares wide-eyed into the distance,
looking to a better future,
looking past the blood stained flesh.
Scarlet seeps from the heart that once
beat in adoration.
He asks his father to reconsider.
He is answered with ravenous teeth and
bulging muscles squeezing life from his limp body.
Saturn eats his fist of power.
